Basia Ba\u0144da was born in 1980. She graduated from the studio of Professor Jaros\u0142aw Koz\u0142owski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Pozna\u0144 in 2006. She lives and works in Zielona G\u00f3ra. Her artistic practice includes painting, drawing, collage, photography, sculpture and performance. In 2007 and 2009 she received a fellowship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland. She currently teaches at the Department of Visual Arts at the University of Zielona G\u00f3ra. Her work is featured in numerous public and private collections, including the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, Warsaw; the National Museum, Gdansk; the Bunkier Sztuki Gallery of Contemporary Art, Cracow; the Labirynt Gallery, Lublin; and the ING Polish Art Foundation.<\/p>\n
