Philosophical Rubbish is the latest work by Zbigniew Warpechowski, created over the past few months. It’s a collection of the artist’s thoughts, carelessly scattered across the floor, like the titular rubbish. Yet each one is precisely worded and carefully painted, the result of knowledge, erudition and the experience of an artist with nearly sixty years of creative legacy. The thoughts in the Philosophical Rubbish vary: serious, witty, subversive, definitive, ambiguous… The way they’re presented doesn’t impose anything, you can pause and ponder each one, or walk right past them with indifference. 

Rubbish is rubbish after all.
