Jarosław Fliciński urodził się w 1963 roku. Malarz, autor realizacji przestrzennych, prac site-specific, instalacji, obiektów, filmów. W latach 1982–1986 studiował na Wydziale Architektury Politechniki Gdańskiej, a następnie na Wydziale Malarstwa Państwowej Wyższej Szkoły Sztuk Plastycznych w Gdańsku (1986–1991). Do jego najbardziej znanych cyklów prac należą Skoki do wody, Flowers & Stars, Faites vos jeux oraz Homemade Paintings. Od 2000 roku obrazy zaczęły schodzić z płótna na ściany, dając początek wielkoformatowym muralom i realizacjom site-specific. W swojej praktyce artysta łączy analityczną precyzję geometrycznej abstrakcji z afektywnym nacechowaniem, dotykając często pozornie błahych i niezauważalnych elementów otaczającej nas rzeczywistości. Poprzez zabiegi powtórzeń, budowania kompozycji z pomocą osi oraz linii odwołuje się do fenomenów zaczerpniętych z natury i pejzażu. Tworzone w ten sposób obrazy oraz realizacje pozostają w nieodłącznej relacji z miejscem ich powstawania. Obecnie mieszka i tworzy w Warszawie i Zawadzie koło Nałęczowa.
